Ingredients of Tiramisu

  1. Prepare 1 of and 1/2 cup Brewed Espresso (Hot).
  2. You need 2-3 tbsp of Coffee Liqueur (Hot).

  4. You need 1/2 cup of and 2 Tbsp Sugar.
  5. Prepare 425 gm of Mascarpone Cheese.

  9. You need of Cheries For Garnishing.

The filling starts with a zabaglione — which is a fancy name for egg yolks whisked with sugar and marsala wine (or rum, in our case) over a double-boiler until light, pale and foamy. This zabaglione establishes the flavor of the whole dish. This classic Tiramisu is made authentically in the Italian way, with espresso soaked ladyfingers layered with a light and airy mascarpone cream, and dusted with cocoa powder to finish. This is a great make ahead dessert and perfect for entertaining!

Tiramisu instructions

  1. Mix Brewed Espresso, and Coffee Liqueur in a bowl. Let it cool..
  2. In another large Bowl Add Egg Yolks and Sugar. Set the bowl over the top of a pot with Simmering Water. Whisk the Eggs and Sugar until a Custard Thickens. (The Temperature of Egg Yolks Should reach 68°-70° Celsius)..
  3. Remove the bowl from heat. Let Cool..
  4. When it cooled down add Mascarpone Cheese, and Vanilla Essence. Beat until Smooth..
  5. In another bowl add Heavy Cream. Whip until Stiff peaks Forms..
  6. Add Half of the Whipped Cream Mixture to the Mascarpone Mixture. Fold the Mixture. Then fold the Rest..
  7. Dip the Bisticks in the Coffee Mixture for 2-3 Second then put them at the Bottom of the Serving Dish. (Bisticks is a name of biscuits really common in Pakistan and they're easily available)..
  8. Spread half of the Cream and again put a layer of Bisticks. Spread the remaining Cream..
  9. Cover with Plastic Wrap and Refrigerate for 6 hours..
  10. After Refrigerating, take off the Plastic Wrap. Dust Cocoa Powder. Add Cherries on top and Mint leaves..
  11. Enjoy your meal..
